I started looking a solar-powered lighting ideas for my mailbox. Even though I am assed for street lighting, the closest light is maked by somebody's great bit Maple "street tree" so the end of my driveway is in the dark.
I figured iy can't hurt to hav a "mmarker light" of some sort out there at least, so I started looking through ideas.
I ened up choosing this. It should help for after-dark deliveries in the Winter as well.

You can stick it in the ground on two posts (included) on atop the mailbox as I have chosen.
I was worried. The ad copy and the potos all suggest there are only 3 sets of 0-9 included but my addess has two 8s in it. With both sides of the light, I need four 6s.
They do not sell "refills" separately, but maybe I got lucky because I recevied four sets of the 0-9 so I didn't hav to color in a 3 or something. Whew.
The thing can light up in any of 12 maybe 16 colors. Most look nice enough, but white looks best to me, and it has both cold white and a softer warm white (went with the latter). Got my holes drilled, brackets mounted, and insert the fixture. Good sunlight today, can't wait to see how it looks after dark.
