Shopping--What did you buy?

I ordered a microwave steamer to cook my veggies in . I usually sauté veggies with a little bit of olive oil or butter, but since I am just going to steam them with a little water, I thought a microvwave one would work.
I have the little electric noodle cooker which also has a steamer, but it is small to cook longer items, like asparagus. This one will be long enough for any kind of long veggie that I want to cook.
 
We're going to have to shop for a new washer-drier because our washer broke. It had a long run, though. Although the drier still works fine, it's mounted on top of the washer, so I guess we'll be looking for another combination washer-drier; it takes up less space that way, anyhow. I think I'll let my wife choose one though, because anything I buy will be "wrong" in one way or another.

The thing is John, the brightly colored real birds are mostly male. Seems to me that if you put the faux “male” birds on your car, they will lure the females in.
When the females do arrive and discover they’re being given the cold shoulder, being female, they’ll dump their disdain all over your car for spite.

I installed under-cabinet puck lights with a touch pad that need to be replaced. They are 120vac with each one making a home run to the dimmer outlet. I installed 2 touch pads...one over my work area and another at the entrance to my kitchen. The problem is they have cheap sockets that take the 2 pronged halogen bulbs, and the sockets get slop in them so the bulbs stop making contact. I can't find replacement 120vac pucks of any style...it's all strip LED these days (often with a stupid remote that will get lost.)

And I've also got a linen closet that needs lit. I was gonna install a magnetic door switch and a 120vac light that goes on when the door is open. I never thought of motion-activated.

We have motion-activated in a closet off the hallway. It has batteries, but they only need to be replaced once a year and it was easier than running wires, plus it works when the power is out.
 
Rotors and pads for my wife's brakes (on her car). Brakes aren't that old, but the rotors seemed to have warped. Auto parts guy says that they sometimes warp if you heat them up in very cold weather when you brake hard. I don't drive her car often, so I often find something I don't like when I do. Our twin daughters shared a car when they were home, and I never heard any complaints...then I drove it. A terrible screeching, whining sound from the rear axle/wheels. They had apparently been driving the car with totally shot rear wheel bearings and they thought the noise was normal? (front-wheel drive car). The sons always knew when something was wrong, and usually fixed it themselves, but not the daughters or the wife.

Anyway, I also bought a PCV valve for my truck. The valve was complete broken off somehow. I am beginning to think someone is sabotaging my truck.
 
We are headed to Walmart to buy more bags of topsoil so that we can finish the asparagus bed and start work on the new strawberry bed. I had a lot of strawberry runners last year and I put them in large planters . Now, I need those planters to put tomatoes in, so the strawberries have to be moved elsewhere, and soon.
