I took a drive to a doctor appointment in the big city yesterday and swung by ALDI while I was there. I usually buy the same short list of staples that I specifically shop at ALDI for, and decided I didn't feel like cooking dinner that night. So for the first time I went through the frozen food section (folks rave about some of that stuff) and grabbed a 30 ounce Shepard's Pie for less than $3. It was delicious! I had a salad with it, and should have made some mixed veggies since it didn't look like there were any in it. I'll get 3 piggy-sized meals out of it (would be 4+ servings for a normal adult.)
