Shopping--What did you buy?

I took a drive to a doctor appointment in the big city yesterday and swung by ALDI while I was there. I usually buy the same short list of staples that I specifically shop at ALDI for, and decided I didn't feel like cooking dinner that night. So for the first time I went through the frozen food section (folks rave about some of that stuff) and grabbed a 30 ounce Shepard's Pie for less than $3. It was delicious! I had a salad with it, and should have made some mixed veggies since it didn't look like there were any in it. I'll get 3 piggy-sized meals out of it (would be 4+ servings for a normal adult.)

Commercial stain sprayer (oouch), cropped black summer cardigan, sleeveless fishing shirt ( my summer uniform), two of my favorite lounge sets (bike shorts, pocket, wide waist, long sleeveless tunic top with a round neckline) which are ok to go to the mailbox for happy hour with neighbors while watching kids, potentially a travel trailer.

Hubby asks for that when I am not in a cooking mood although it is getting harder to find. Sometimes it comes in single servings at Festival.

You should have bought those big fake owls like people use in their gardens. The crapper is going to laugh at those sissy-bird decoys.
I did. Still have it. I put it on top of my car. Didn't make a difference. After I wasted my money, I went on Lowe's website and found lots of reviews with pictures like this:

There are pics of the owl with bird's nests on its head. One guy repurposed his to keep the Boogeyman away:

All I bought yesterday was 22 minutes on the DRX machine (spinal decompression, plus an adjustment if I want to keep walking), 4+ gallons of gas for $14+, my BPmeds, and the worst “fish delish” meal I have ever bought from Captain D’s. They have changed their fish and their mix for the batter —- yuk — I won’t be back.

Unless something happens, my brother is making the ten hour drive down here, the end of this week. That means I will be buying food I don’t normally buy, but that’s ok because I have his To-Do List ready😘😇😘😇

I bought medical stuff for a few different place, and ordered fake birds from Amazon.

I'm going to put one on each of my side view mirrors because I have a bird that perches there and poops all over my car. I hope he thinks the mirrors are already occupied. Only $9 for the set.
Yup, saw those on Amazon as well.
The thing is John, the brightly colored real birds are mostly male. Seems to me that if you put the faux “male” birds on your car, they will lure the females in.
When the females do arrive and discover they’re being given the cold shoulder, being female, they’ll dump their disdain all over your car for spite.

Out of respect for (and fear of) many of our members, I shan't comment on the dumping of disdain. But if that happens, I got Plan B lined up and ready to go:
