Shopping--What did you buy?

Well, that was weird. In my last post where the emoji is with the X's for eyes, I had typed the old-school "tard" symbol... capital O, underscore, small o. I guess wokeness has arrived in forum software.

If it makes you feel better, "retard" is trending on Walz's X account. I went to a Translate website and gave a guy the Somali word for it and told him to start using that.

I just ordered my youngest daughter one of these for her grand babies, boy is 16 months old, the girl a 2-month-old infant.
My daughter will be babysitting them so she will need one. The boy toddler is already running around.
I had one of these for my oldest daughter and it really came in handy.

I've been adding spiced & candied nuts to my diet, and can not find raw unsalted macadamia nuts in the stores. I went to Nuts.com and was surprised that many of their prices are comparable to Walmart's in-store prices. A couple are slightly higher, but I figured I'd see how the quality compares. I just placed my first order. They got more money than I wanted to spend to hit the Free Shipping minimum, but I figured I'd put the $8 towards more nuts. Funny how that always seems to happen.

The walnuts and pecans I've made so far from Walmart products are really good. Been having them as snacks & salad toppings. I ordered more of those, as well as raw macadamia nuts and raw pumpkin seeds. (I bought some roasted macadamia nuts a couple of days ago, soaked them, and have them in the dehydrator now. I doubt they'll come out that good since they were already roasted and the soak/dehydrate process is meant for raw nuts & seeds.)

eta: I got in under the wire for my order to ship today.

I've even gotten BLACK walnuts on Walmart.com. They were very good and easier than getting them from my trees. Not bad price either.

I went to Fleet farm today. I needed some bulk peanuts for treats for my chickens. Some anti protozoan meds and I stopped at the end of Christmas aisle. I got a few things including solar string lights 50% off. I have a wire horse form that I've had forever and have to restring lights on it as the originals burned out after so many years. I think I will put it together and just have it on my deck all the time. Horses don't have to be just for Christmas. :D

I’ve been very good …I have not spent any money on anything but food and water ( can’t stand the taste of the water here in QLD ) so I buy a 10 Ltr of spring water …. so far been here 3 weeks …today and used 5 x 10 Ltr bottles which we use in the kettle as well …
we’ve had them delivered as part of a Cole’s online shop …picked up one but it was only a short distance to carry it …from shop to train …train to accommodation ….short distance away

Me too. I think that is about new accounts, but who knows?
A friend recently signed up and told me those are the new universal requirements, but it's just for new accounts. (She exaggerates and I forgot to be skeptical.) There are lots of rural areas that still don't have great (if any) internet access, so even though those folks might struggle with these requirements, you gotta think they wouldn't be motivated to visit that site (or any site) in the first place...you can always go to a field office.
