Opossums are immune to Rabies. Scientists believe it is due to their lower body temperature that doesn't allow the virus to replicate. They are also the only living thing that is immune to snake venom; unknown why.
Giraffes have the highest normal blood pressure of any mammal - as high as 300/200, necessary to get blood up that long neck to their brain.
And to prevent damage, their organs are pressurized, their heart's valves & ventricles are heavy duty & their arteries are much thicker. And their legs have skin that acts as built-in support stockings to avoid swelling.
Ants have no lungs & never sleep.
