Yes, I think I like tomatoes all over the kitchen counter and the jars of dilly beans in the background. Easier to see.Let me know if you want to. It would only take a moment.
One last personal note on magnesium and cramps. If I get cramps at nite a spoon of mustard will get rid of them immediately although I do take a bit more magnesium then. But I have found that if I sleep too soundly with one leg on another or one raised too high, the cramp may be from lack of circulation which makes me think of periferal artery disease. That was for dramatic effect.![]()
Apologies for cluttering Ken's diary with cramp discussion, but I don't have nighttime muscle cramps. I had a weird cramp in the arch of my foot after wearing different sandals but that was a one-off and I just stood up and walked it off.One last personal note on magnesium and cramps. It's ok. Ken is old too.Apologies for cluttering Ken's diary with cramp discussion, but I don't have nighttime muscle cramps. I had a weird cramp in the arch of my foot after wearing different sandals but that was a one-off and I just stood up and walked it off.I hope you don't have PAD, Mary!
I still have occasional chemo/radiation related cramping across my upper torso but that is an entirely different ballgame. I take magnesium but it does not touch the chemo cramps, and neither does mustard, pickle juice, etc. Those cramps are from hell and take my breath away, causing me to ugly cry like a toddler.
I only mentioned the foot cramp in response to Ken's "stretching caused a weird pain" post. These random old-people pains are annoying.
Sorry for the OT stuff, @Ken Anderson .

Lots of small towns around here went down here. But then they started to be bedroom communities for Milwaukee. Now they are also becoming a drug highway. Chicago to Green Bay.
This was recently done, profiling Millinocket, where I live. Peter Santellano profiles towns all over the country, and does a pretty good job of it. If you haven't watched his stuff, you might want to. The guy who is showing him around is a jerk, although he doesn't come off that way in the video. I don't think they show our house; although they drive right by it, the camera is focused on the other side of the street, but they show a large part of the town. The GNP buildings, what's left of them, are just a few blocks south of me. He stops in at Preble Oil, where we get our heating oil from. Nice people.
You're not too far from where I grew up, then. I was born in Marinette, Wisconsin (only because my parents preferred the Marinette hospital to the one that was then in Menominee), and grew up in Wallace, just north of Menominee, Michigan.Lots of small towns around here went down here.
