Oh pooh! That's celcius.
Oh pooh! That's celcius.
It is the "miserable cold" that I talked about. Wet, windy cold is miserable, plus a lot of the houses in the UK (from what I have been told) do not have the heating systems that most American and Canadian houses have. Some places on the North American Northeast coast have a similar climate, as do the Aleutians here in Alaska. She claims there is no place colder, but she apparently has not been any place colder. I may have mentioned the woman I worked with in the bush who claimed Alaska couldn't be any worse than northern Ohio. She found out differently very soon.Oh pooh! That's celcius.![]()
I took a shower before going to the barn this morning. I told my daughter, before the car heater warmed up, that it was a mistake to wash off all of my protective dirt.It is the "miserable cold" that I talked about. Humidity can make both warm weather and cold weather feel worse, and both can feel miserable, especially to those not used to it or not having appropriate clothing.
