I don't know when the last time that I have bought bagged lettuce. It just seems too dried out and tasteless to me, plus the lettuce turns brown if it isn’t used immediately.
Since I moved to a rural area, I drive 50 miles round trip every week to shop for produce rather than settle for that nasty bagged stuff. The bagged Spring Mix looks fresh, but once you get it wet it mats together like toilet paper.I don't know when the last time that I have bought bagged lettuce. Hoot, you can do better. Open the fridge door.Looks like a peanut butter and crackers evening.
Archeology 101I got no idea what I'm gonna make. Start with a salad. I know I have some leftover Domino's pizza in the freezer...somewhere in there.

You better double check how the little fluffy thing is doing. It requires ears and a corsetArcheology in the Antarctic. I gotta put on my parka and tie a rope around my waist so I can find my way back out.
Actually, I found a serving of pizza. It ain't fine dining, but it fills the gaps in between the salad.
It is still really hot outside but, I am still making chicken noodle soup today.
You can do it plus you have Medicare.I picked up a container of refrigerated Shrimp Corn Chowder at Walmart's deli section. Probably add a salad & some bread.
I bought this on Friday, got ready to eat it that night, and the Use By Date on the plastic tub was smeared and the month was eradicated. It was xx/11/26. So it was either outdated by 6 days when I bought it, or it has a weeks-long shelf life. I went back today to pick up some odds & ends and checked another container. 8/11/26. Go figger. I've had this happen before on ALDI pasta sauce that is in plastic jars.
