I picked up an end cut of a nice smoked Gouda yesterday, so the past couple of dinners have been a salad with hard boiled fresh eggs with cheese & crackers.

Will contain pork chops and my version of Mac and cheese, and maybe some beans or another veggie.

BBQ pork sandwiches, oven fries, and baked beans.

Rib eye and salmon. Rabbit food and whatever sounds good by 19:00.

Made an Asparagus & Ham omelette.

Szegediner Kraut. Sauerkraut with bacon, onion, Hungarian paprika, caraway, mashed potatoes, grilled pork. The pork should be cooked with the kraut but I do not feel like meat.

He made more pinto beans with ham hock, and asked about rice for later- guess that will be it. He will eat ;last of banana pudding.

Chipotle! I'm having carnitas and the better half is having a chicken burrito bowl. Chips and queso on the side.

An oversized Scooby snacks platter including flammekuchen. Paper thin pasta dough covered with yoghurt with salt and nutmeg, sprinkled with thinly sliced bacon, onion, hot pepper. Baked at 475F. A crunchy, greasy, spicy nothing. It was how bakers determined if communal wood fire ovens were ready for bread.
The usual suspects as in had salami, Gouda, meat balls, pickled peppers, …. .

Made a huge salad with lettuce, onions, bacon, hard boiled egg, avocado, shredded cheese & croutons. It's quite tasty.

We had traditional hot pork pies with mushy peas and mint sauce . Yummy.
It's usually more traditional on bonfire night ( nov 5 th ) but hubby working that evening.
