That sounds pretty good, Hoot. I think we'll have sandwiches, too. Maybe I'll make some tomato soup and grilled cheese since it's a little chilly today.Ham and Swiss sandwiches with some potato chips

I just looked up what is a hasselback and all it gave were potato instructions. Still don't know.My first and last attempt at the Hasselback baked potato. Hassel is right.
Lots of work and fussing about. It taste like a regular baked potato if you
put on the same toppings after it is baked. Nice novelty if you entertain.

on the menu for tonight is
Liver and onions with asparagus.
And a baked potato
I have 5 favorite meals and this
is one of them.
Would you be willing to share the bread recipe? PleaseWe had Easter dinner last night. I forgot where I put the asparagus. Hubby wanted ham. Check, I wanted anything else. Got a whole chicken that wasn't thawed in time. Baked it for an hour before I put in the ham. We hadn't had mashed potatoes for so long (keto diet) so I whipped up a batch. Also mashed up a really good rutabaga. A small, store bought cake with sprinkles for desert. Cranberry sauce...Easter is not the same without littles.
BUT I saw a recipe for bread as Jesus would have eaten and made it. No levening agent. Barley based with insane amounts of seed ground into the flour. It actually turned out! Tastes different than we are used to but even better today. When they said people in the Bible could survive on bread? Now I believe it.
