What's for supper?

You need to share some of those recipes with us, Tony. I'd love to see that cookbook!
I would like to see some of those recipes, too ! Maybe you can start a recipe thread for your pasta and other recipes , @Tony Page ?

My mom and dad didn’t like pasta, and so I grew up never having it at home.
When I was in Junior High, I had dinner at a friend’s house, and they had macaroni and cheese. I had never tasted anything SO delicious ! Kathy and her mother were shocked because they had it almost every Friday, since they were catholic.

After I got married, my mother-in-law made spaghetti, so I learned about that, and chicken noodles, which I had only ever had in the Campbell’s Soup cans, and hated.
Now, I really like pasta, but except for what I have found on YouTube, I still don’t know much about making it.

I’d never heard of pasta meals when we were kids , or rice ..it was never served as a first course ..it was strictly a desert food

We eat very little pasta , as I try to stick to low carb type foods however if we are in Adelaide near a really good pasta shop we treat ourselves to a serve of lasagne …hubs likes the spinach one ..me the meat one …

Last night I made a nice puffy omelette topped with chopped tomato / spring onion / finely chopped pepperoni / cheese
had it with Lettuce ,avocado and carrot ribbons and a thick toasted slice of sour dough bread with pumpkin and sunflower seeds
I buy from Woolworths once in a blue moon …it’s only a tiny loaf but tasty 🤤 it costs $3.25 here

It’s only 8.30am here ..tonite we are having beef Pattie’s I made a month or so ago …when we had a hamburger for tea …and froze …enough in pack for 2 extra meals
Will have veggies with the Pattie’s ….and maybe make a sauce with the meat

Some of y'all are announcing what you are having for supper, as I eat breakfast. I have no idea about supper or even lunch. I do have my mid morning snack narrowed down to two options. Two slices of cheddar cheese are a given, but the decision between Ritz crackers or Cheez Its, hasn't been chiseled in stone yet. :ROFLMAO:

Tonight we're going to try a new takeout place called ATL Wing Spot. I will have a barbecue chicken sandwich. They have like 30 different sauces and rubs you can put on your chicken. The rest of my family will select what they want on their chicken sandwich unless they want a Wrap. I'm also ordering sides of onion rings, waffle fries, sweet potato fries, waffle fries with cheese.
