SO took me and my cough to the doctor this morning. Shots, antibiotics and we should be able to get some sleep tonight.
One big batch of pickled vegetables I eat as candy substitute will be about it for me.

Th weather just keeps getting colder, so today is officially “Put the flannel sheets on the bed” day. That is all done, and the summer sheets are being washed and put away until Spring rolls around again.
I enjoy sleeping on flannel sheets in the winter, and they are so much warmer than regular sheets.

Making rice and tuna fish for the kitty cats, they love having a nice warm breakfast, alone with the dry kibble that they always have. We have a small window in the pantry where they can come in and out as they please, so they are now spending more time inside with the cold weather, and outside when it is sunny and warmer.

I took my old truck to get the front end aligned. The steering was wonky still. The business said that they had a cancellation for tomorrow otherwise I would have to wait till mid November. So glad because I seal up the barn with the first freeze. Very little gets in or out.
The truck really smelled, my daughter, who followed me over, said. She thought the mouse nests would catch fire. I warned the receptionist and she thought I was kidding.
