I am still peeved that Elizabeth Warren falsely claimed American Indian blood in an attempt to profit from it. She should also be thrown out of office for this fraud. I think she is lower than traitor Swalwell. They forced Swalwell out with sexual misconduct, when he should have been ousted for sharing our intel with a Chinese spy.

It is a sad day when sexual misconduct is taken more seriously than giving secrets to Chinese communist agents, IE treason.

I agree with you, it is the giving information to the Chinese spy that he should be convicted of. That might be why she died under suspicious circumstances, so she can’t be use to help convict him of being involved with the spy. There were so many women who came forward to charge him with the sexual misconduct, that it forced him to drop out. And he might never face charges for any of it.

Now that he resigned, it will all fade away. That is why the Texas Congressman also resigned today. Now it will all fade away since it isn't of a political use anymore.

I guess I am vindictive, since I still want Warren and Pelosi brought to justice. Of course we have traitor thieving criminals like Omar and others still in our government and they makes crooks like Warren and Pelosi look like patriots.

Interesting that some of the deepest insiders suggest that Carter was the last honest President. But people rejected the path of honesty and the austerity it required. They happily fell for Reagan-Bush and their Iranian back door dealing to go back into world governance by organized crime on a massive scale.

People don't realize that during WWII many American corporations went right on doing deals with and supplying Hitler. That war was not at all what we were (and are) told it was. An Ohio company making ball bearings supplied them to the Nazis for use in tanks. When an attempt to curb this and divert those bearings into US military vehicles it was refused and "the government" backed right down.

I was just saying to my husband that I imagine Brett Kavanaugh is feeling pretty satisfied with Swalwell's fall from grace.
I, too, found it interesting that Swalwell now demands the "fair treatment" that he refused Kavanaugh. I know there is a lot of false allegations of sexual misconduct out there, particularly if there is revenge or monetary gain behind it, but Swalwell has been dirty for a long time. He is also stupid. California has a history of having the stupidest representatives and senators in government. He is one of them. Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein were the exceptions, and, when Pelosi retires, both will be out of power. Feinstein is, of course , already dead.

Nowt to do with me..... but who I find the most disgusting bit of S... is that women who rip up a speech behind the speakers back.

Every time I she her I want to punch her in the face(might make her better looking)
I didn't say she was a nice person, or even a good politician @Tom Galty, just that she wasn't stupid. She might actually be the most corrupt person in Washington...and that is saying quite a lot.

Agree. She's been in congress so long that she's practically fossilized, with all her plastic surgery that's holding it all together. I can't stand her smug disgusting face.

Our Communist (D) governor just signed a bill into law giving Virginia's electoral votes in a presidential election to the candidate that wins the nationwide popular vote, regardless of how we actually vote.

This is insane.
I wonder if that will be challenged. It essentially disenfranchises Virginia voters in all Presidential elections. I cannot see how that could be Constitutional, but it is the Democrat's way to attempt to bypass the Electoral College. Ironically, Trump would have taken Virginia in the last election if that were the law then. I don't recall if he carried VA then or not and I am too lazy to look it up.

From what I read, it's up to the states to choose their electoral college members. The Constitution doesn't say how. (Article II, section 1) If this were in place when a Republican wins the popular vote, the Dems will reverse it ex post facto.

"Saving democracy" and "fighting fascism" my ass.

Too many need to be brought to justice. How can we get to them all?

Another attack on American culture, out of New York.

I'm no gun advocate and I've never owned a firearm But I've used them, as well as BB guns and for that matter toy capguns and such.

The connection between play with guns and "gun violence" is tenuous at best. I have serious doubt that the modern problems of gang violence and mass shootings has a damned thing to do with kids. Even kids aren't as dumb as people want to think they are.

I'm far more worried about some dumbass fearful woman carrying a gun in her purse that she crammed for exam on than I am about kids playing with toy guns or learning to shoot BB guns. The last thing we need is more broken down emotional "adult" children on medication running around armed who at the same time think toys should all be Barbies.

There were way more kids playing with toy guns, and even real ones after the age of 12 or so, in the 1950s and 1960s, yet gun violence (especially of the type we have now) wasn't occurring at the levels we see now. Plus, toy guns have always been more prevalent in small towns and rural areas than in cities, yet the violence is predominantly in the cities.

I think toy guns, not BB guns, can be linked to accidental shootings, but not to directed gun violence. I have seen evidence that toy guns develop a casual attitude toward firearms, and the careless handling of such.

Toy guns do not develop attitudes. Lack of parenting does. Most of our circle started teaching gun safety to kids and grand kids as soon as they were big enough to hold a gun.

But that does not apply to many families. If you treat a toy gun as you would a real weapon and teach children to do the same, that is a good thing, but I have seen many teens who had toy guns as a child and never developed safe practices; some end up shooting themselves or their best friend while "horsing around" with a real gun as they did with the toys they had as a kid. You cannot assume that other people will train children and grandchildren as you do/did. The accidental shooting will then be used in anti-gun propaganda and even legislation. I have even seen "toy" guns that I could not tell from real ones unless I looked down the barrel (although that was not in the U.S.). Those even had working actions and looked and operated like areal weapon. I think the ones here have orange around the muzzle, but kids get shot by cops because the kid is pointing a "toy" gun at an officer who cannot tell that it is not real. My kids grew up around guns as it is part of the culture here and necessary to protect oneself from dangerous animals. The ones who still live in Alaska are avid hunters, and carry large revolvers when fishing. I am not at all anti-gun.

I never taught any of our kids anything at all about toy guns, because they were toy guns. When they got older they were introduced to real guns but only one son ever showed any interest as a teenager. He's now an avid hunter with an entire arsenal at his house.

All of our children except one now have concealed carry permits and own handguns.
