Problems With Your Purchase?

I would absolutely complain about that. Groceries are too expensive to be ruined by carelessness.
I totally agree with this. I use Walmart Delivery for our groceries the majority of the time now, so we do not have to use the vehicle as much.
Last year, every time I ordered cherries, they would bring me the red grapes instead of cherries. I would write and say that I didn’t get my cherries, and that they sent grapes. They always took off the price of the cherries, so I was not charged for them. But we ended up with grapes we didn’t need.

When the order is delivered, there is a place to rate the driver and the order, so you can also report on there that the bananas were packed underneath of canned goods. If the bananas were bruised, they will refund the price for them, too.

You just reminded me the last delivery they had nectarines on sale and I ordered them instead I got plums, at a higher price. When you order they give you the option of selecting a substitute and for fruit I check off don't substitute.

I'm not 100% sure of their system but I don't think the driver necessarily packs the bags. I'm hesitant to complain, don't want to see anyone getting fired, I wish they had a suggestion box instead.

I'm not planning on renewing my membership.

Sometimes the driver does the shopping, but usually the driver just picks up the order and delivers. Once it is delivered. Walmart gives you a notice that it is delivered and asks how the order was and the delivery. If there were missing items or other mistakes, then you can send in that information, and they will refund the price right away.
With the driver, it is just an option to say how good a delivery job they did.
We have drivers that just sit in their car in the street and not even in the driveway and let Bobby take everything out of their trunk, and other drivers that do a great job, park in the driveway and get the groceries out for Bobby to carry in.
If there is a mistake, sometimes they give you a coupon code you can use for a discount on the next order, too.

I've been purchasing groceries from Walmart and having them delivered. I got a good deal on the delivery yealy fee so I took advantage of it.

The biggest problem I'm seeing is how they pack the bags. As an example today's delivery had a gallon of milk, a half gallon of Lactaid free milk, and a bottle of orange juice, stuffed into one of their paper bags. It was heavy I carried the bag from the bottom I didn't use the handles for fear it would rip.

Another bag loaded with looked like dumped (random) canned food when we got to the bottom they were on top of a bunch of bananas. Similarly a bag had 2 - 2 ltr sodas laying flat on top of a loaf of white bread.

We had this problem in the past a few times. Seems some training on how to pack a grocery bag is needed. Maybe a don't and do's visual instruction sign.
Passive resistance.

I haven't ordered groceries from Walmart, but I order other things. I have to say that they are quick to deliver. I ordered some things late Friday and they were delivered Saturday. I have never had an incorrect item delivered.
I've never had a problem with orders that I got in the mail just hand delivered from the grocery store.

Some of their items are sold from a third party, not directly from Walmart. I have had problems with third party sellers having long delays where I had to cancel the order.

When our house was being refurbished after the fire we were told to go pick out our kitchen major appliances, and to have them delivered. Contractor said they would be installing kitchen cabinets and they would need the appliances soon. My wife and I did some research, and based on recommendations and internet ratings we decided to go with LG for all the appliances in the kitchen. We reviewed the refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and over the stove microwave for reliability, features, size, and looks. The manufacturers warranty was one year, so we purchase an additional warranty of 5 years for repair and parts.

About 3 weeks before Christmas our refrigerator came up with an error code IF E, which had something to do with the fan for the ice maker. Not knowing if that affected the refrigerator or just the ice, in a rush to save what foods was in the refrigerator and freezer they were removed an squeezed into our backup refrigerator. We found out later this error code only affected the ice and water dispenser, not the refrigerator.

After contacting the store we purchase the appliances, then the warranty service, then they connected us to a repair service we got a date for a repair man to come and fix the refrigerator.

The repair man couldn't fix the refrigerator on the 1st visit he needed a part. In total it took about 2 weeks for the refrigerator to be repaired.

On Christmas day our dishwasher came up with a error code IE which was not enough water fill. Bottom line the warranty company said between the cost of the part and the labor cost it was not worth repairing. They are sending us a check for about 80% of the purchase price. We feld we should have gotten a full refund, but after disagreeing with the store and warranty service we got nowhere.

Both these appliances broke down in 2 years and one month.

We purchase a Bosch Dishwasher from Costco and are waiting for the installation this coming Monday.

I remember one of my refrigerators running for 20 years, and we replaced it not because it was not working but we wanted a bigger one.

Any problems with a purchase or warranty, let's hear about it. It might be helpful to others.
I've never purchased an extended warranty for any product. The warranty comes from a separate company that has nothing to do with the store & if the warranty company goes out off business, you're out of luck. Even if they're still in business, they'll make the repair procedure so complicated & frustrating, most people will not think it's worth their time. They exist only for profit & they only profit when they don't repair or replace - much like home insurers that avoid replacing houses after a fire (like they're doing now in CA with hundreds of homeowners who paid premiums for years).
I bought a Whirlpool fridge 14 years ago - still good. But I don't want ice makers or water dispensers. They often cause problems. BTW, when a product fails soon after purchase, I'M the one who offers the store a solution: Full refund or I dispute the charge. I've only had to resort to that once. Stores know you have that option when you pay with a credit card. And they can't intimidate assertive people into accepting partial refunds.
