The times that I have taken pain relievers, whether Aspirin, Tylenol, or various prescribed pain relievers after operations and such, they never seemed to do much of anything, so I don't take them. I would probably never take Tylenol again, but I can't say that I'll never take a pain reliever. I just like to reduce the number of medications that I take, and if the things aren't going to actually relieve the pain, then I'll just say no. I did take "baby aspirin" (which should never be given to a baby, by the way) for a while when I was persuaded that it would reduce the chances of heart problems, but I later came to believe that was not true, at least in my case, since my blood is rather thin anyhow, so I don't do that anymore.
