Moving!

Well, "so far, so good", as the old saying goes. The little girl above us still does some running around, but nothing like she was doing. Either that, or we are tolerating it more (LOL). Since we have got most of thing things done where we had to change our address, in a week or so, we will be getting a Colorado phone number. However, we want to make sure that we have everything done that we needed our Nevada phone number for.

I take Nancy to her first doctor's appointment this afternoon. Same doctor she had when we lived here before. Next month, I go to the local VA Clinic for a hearing exam. I'll either have my existing "VA given" hearing aids cleaned or get a new pair. In August, I have an appointment with my VA doctor that I also had when we lived here before. I'm also supposed to get my 5th Lupron Hormone Injection in August.

BTW, my birthday, last Saturday (June 13th) was nice. Nice breakfast out, done a few "needed" things, and that night, went to local restaurant/nightclub to celebrate my birthday. Yes, fully dressed up in western attire and we looked good.........actually, GREAT!! The band that played was good. The young lady that was the singer, performed much like Miranda Lambert and we told her that. She is 19 and her mom and dad were with her. She sang a couple of Dolly Pardon songs and was very good at that.

So, for now, things are going good. Also, currently, Henderson and the Vegas Valley are seeing high temps of 110 and for us (Loveland), 94 yesterday. My wife has a 3-day weekend coming up. She is off this Friday for Thirteenth Day. We will be getting things out of our boat that we put into it when it was transported here and whatever else we can find to do................and, there are plenty of "whatever" things to do yet.
 
Cody, VA has gotten generous with hearing aids. You should be eligible for new ones every three years. They will let you keep the old ones as back up. The newer models are Blue Tooth compatible which is nice to have.

I forgot to say that that young lady, with her band, sang Happy Birthday directly to me and most everyone looked at me and applauded. Now, THAT was very nice!
