It is going to be lovely all week. Oldest daughter is coming for a visit and we will be in peak fall colors for a trip to Devil's Lake Park. 60's.

When I was there years ago and the indians had to haul tanks of water to trailers on blocks etc, I always wondered why they could not arrange for containment areas in different places for normal floods.

Brrrr. Only 60F here this morning in Central Florida. I can't stand this brutal cold, and had to turn on the heat.

Temps are low 40’s at night to mid 70’s in the day. Great from that perspective but Middle Tennessee is in desperate need of rain and none in sight for at least ten days. My county is 7.47” below average rainfall to-date. Farm crops are going to waste in some of the fields.
My county is one of many that is asking for voluntary water cutbacks of 5% to 10%.
That means no washing cars, driveways, filling the pools, or watering lawns. Yes there are idiots who wash their driveways down and I will turn them in if I happen to run across them in my travels. Nobody on my road is that stupid if they did have cement driveways.
