There was a guy on yt who has been tracking solar storms for a year or better (at least that is as long as I have noticed him) (Stephen Burns?) He shows how they have increased in intensity and are causing more earth quakes, volcano eruptions and heat than normal.

For our local weather... High of 97 in Houston today but humidity is "down" to around 60%. I splashed around in the pool for a while but it's about time for the yard crew to get here so I'm back inside.

Tom, I know you have been to Las Vegas many times, so you have to forgive me for not considering 80 degrees a heat wave. Hope you're staying cool!

I have been to LV and the heat hit 114.

I found it a lot easier to cope with than 80f in the UK.

I live in a very humid area so I understand that well. Thankfully, everything in Houston is air-conditioned or no one would be able to live here.

It was interesting. The Eskimos and Indians who are traditional enemies traded ivory and seal oil for squirrel skins and other stuff not available in their respective teritories.
