That's What She Said

This makes me very sad. Her pain is over, but the families and friends has just begun. She looks so young and happy. Enduring 2 years of treatment, is a testament to her character. Very sorry about your loss, Beth, I know it will seem strange not to be able to communicate with her. I experience that every morning when I don't get a message from a long time friend of 40 years, a pro musician, that died 7 years ago. He checked on me every morning, for years. It makes me feel lonely.

Cancer is real and we do what we can, but sometimes our all, isn't enough. May she rest in peace.

Ugh. Allergy season is such a pain. I get all mucousy and cough/sneeze/whine my way through the day. I try to avoid antihistamines because they can cause higher blood pressure but I took one last night out of desperation. One other side effect is that they basically knock me out cold... my husband woke me at 11 o'clock this morning!! I'd probably still be sleeping if he hadn't checked on me. I think he was afraid I had died in my sleep or something, which at this age is totally valid.

Allergies, ugh! I feel your pain. Spring is usually the worst for me but Fall allergies can kick my butt sometimes too. It depends on what’s floating in the air. If I take Benadryl it will knock me out cold. I don't like that drugged feeling so I take Clairton non-drowsy, when I have to take an antihistamine. I hate taking any allergy meds of any kind. They all make me feel “off”.
