Shopping--What did you buy?

I have a large aluminum ladder, I forget how high it is, but it is similar to a fire department ladder that uses a rope and pulley system, and can reach the upper levels of my house. When we moved here, I used it to make some repairs and the paint the house, but I can't even carry it now, let along hoist if by myself. I also have what might be a Gorilla-type ladder that folds into several different shapes, but I rarely use it so I can't figure out how to set it up most of the time.
 
Well, this was a pleasant surprise. I was shopping online for a pool thermometer and found what I was looking for on the Home Depot website. I was thinking I'd order it and some more potting soil and raised bed soil and go pick it all up later. During checkout I noticed one option was FREE delivery, as soon as today (it's after 2 p.m. already!) So I selected delivery and away we go. Now we don't have to drive 10 miles and lift heavy bags of soil, so yay.

Seems like I ordered something similar last year from HD but I had forgotten about the free delivery.

I wanted a DeWalt battery pole saw and found a sale at Home Depot with free next day delivery via UPS. Then Home Depot had a deal on hi-amp batteries & charger and a free tool (I got a circular saw), they came via Fed Ex the next day (Saturday.) I had no idea. The nearest store is 25 miles away, but I don't know where they ship from.
 
Update on Black and Decker oven...they finally sent me a new one. I made a casserole in it. However not does make a noise. Not real bad noise,,but not an oven noise.
We have used a Bunn coffee maker for years- I am so done with that thing. So dug out the old back up Mr Coffee 12 cup .
No complaints yet..will use until it stops,after that I might try different brand.
Finally added some different see thu curtains over big window in front of dining table. I really like them

The curtains look nice, G. I'm glad you finally got the B&D replacement. Maybe it will last a while this time.
 
Just placed my first Amazon order in a long time.

I bought a combo tire gauge/inflator that hooks up to my air compressor hose so I can check the pressure then pull the lever to add air without removing the nozzle from the tire. I also bought a couple of digital tire pressure gauges that should be better than the cheap ones I got. The old style I have are ±2% accuracy, both ones I just ordered are ±.05% accuracy.

I also bought a container of popcorn seasoning for that movie theater experience. Supposedly popping on stove top with coconut oil plus adding this seasoning makes for an authentic taste. I have been using a microwave popper and adding copious amounts of butter and salt.
 
Stopped at Langston’s and picked up seven shirts for SO. Four fit, two are on hold in a different size. I will be there Monday with needs.

We seldom eat popcorn anymore so my popper went to Goodwill last year. Seems like popcorn really gets stuck in my teeth though it didn't use to. I occasionally buy a small pack of microwave "movie theater" popcorn when we want some. I know that stuff is packed with chemicals but at this age I will chance it. :D

And just the opposite here. I bought the old fashioned popper from Oster for SO. Well, nobody told me that I would be dealing with gremlins all over:)

My 12 year old granddaughter is a Lego hound. She has built some very intricate pieces from Legos. I remember Legos being expensive 30+ years ago when my kids were small, but they are really high-dollar now.

It's an every few months thing for me...usually in the cold weather. I have a lidded bowl that's meant to use in the nuker. If you recall, we discussed the type of plastic it was made of on SOC v1.0 so I sent the manufacturer an email. The salt & butter may kill me, but the plastics won't.

I came upon the flavorings when I was searching for the TV Time flavor...you know, the Two-Pouches-In-A-Box stuff. Flavacol Seasoned Popcorn Salt and butter flavored coconut oil are the secret ingredients. Dunno why I went down a popcorn rabbit hole. Probably boredom. I hope the flavored coconut oil has a decent shelf life. It's cheaper than the beef tallow I bought at Kroger (and dearly love.) I'll find other uses for it.

When I was young, my dad always planted a row of popcorn in the big garden. In fall/winter after the corn was dry and cured, Mama would put some oil in a big heavy pot and make popcorn on the stove. With some salt and melted butter, it was heaven in a bowl to a kid.
