Where do you keep your eggs?

We keep ours in the fridge but I dunno,do they really have to be kept cold?

What Ken said. The unwashed ones have a coating on them called the "bloom" that covers the pores in the eggs so bacteria cannot get in. Once the egg is washed, it removes the coating so they need to be kept in the fridge.

I get them for $4/dozen most times. Still more expensive than the grocery store. But now I'm concerned that the ones I got are far from "fresh."
