What's for supper?

I decided to do something different..
I took B/S chicken breast and cubed it bite size.. Breaded them and then pan fried them in butter and oil till done.. Put them in a large bowl and added some honey/garlic sauce and mixed them up very well while still very hot.. The pieces absorbed the sauce.. The chicken was tender and tasty..
A Caesar salad that I made went well with that..
Way too much to eat, so no dessert..
Pot of tea really needed.....

Had to skip pork in wine and cream the other day as all the white house wine was gone. Add onion, garlic, mushrooms and some fresh thyme. Close the pot lid and wait a while for all the goodness to mingle.

Flammekuchen, paper thin strudeldough covered with yoghurt, onion, bacon, jalapeño as appetizer. Egg custard cut outs and thin celery slices in piping hot sauce as not overly filling soup. Pork loin marinated in stoneground mustard oven baked with carrot, onion, celery, bacon in the same pan. Tomatoe/pepper sauce and broth to baste. Spaetzle, tiny dumpling pasta. Dinner rolls I had fun with when I turned a batch of 16 into 48 almost bite size sesame buns. Crepes with cinnamon sugar in the dough and folded into forth before caramelizing some powdered sugar on them. Apple wedges fried in butter, finished with honey and Calvados. Plated on terracotta red plates with a tiny ball of vanilla ice cream which will melt into a second sauce. Sugared almonds, lemon sandies and Calvados.
Burp:) Merlot, Chardonnay, beer, bubble water
Transportation has been arranged.

Yummy. I have a couple of MCCPPs in my freezer; I need to make those.
I always stretch my pot pies with servings of chicken & gravy I keep in the freezer, and some frozen mixed veggies. They always seem to be heavy on the crust and light on the filling.

I forgot that I have rice left over from yesterday's dinner and may make some rice pudding. I wish I had thought of it before I went to the store today...I would have grabbed some half & half or condensed milk. I may wait. The rice will keep.

The crust is my favorite part. I hate those cheap brands that don't have double crust.

Rice pudding sounds good. I haven't made that in a long time.

Little steakalas on the BBQ...
Steamed mixed veggies, butternut squash slices on the BBQ..
Banana, blueberries in heavy cream..
Pot of tea....
