What's for supper?

Air Fryer British Chiken Pastry. I have no idea if it is actually British or not, but it sho is Yummy.

Looks like Yard Bird Wellington. I'd eat it.

The Better Half is shuffling through our stack of gift cards, so we'll probably order from Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Works for me. :D
I think the quality of steaks is way better at Texas Roadhouse than at Outback. I've had their pulled pork, too, and thought it was good. Sadly, they are both about 20 miles away.

I like Texas Roadhouse better, but I never look a gift card in the mouth. :ROFLMAO: (We ended up picking up from Outback; I got the Alice Springs Chicken, loaded mashed potatoes and caesar salad.).

I slathered a small pork roast in butt rub and tossed it into the crock pot. Later I'll shred it and add BBQ sauce, and we'll have pulled pork on buns with chips. I'll probably make some coleslaw because I have to have something green.

And I have some leftover rice in the fridge so I'll be copying @John Brunner and making rice pudding for dessert. I don't think I have any raisins in the pantry so it will be plain with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Did you make that rice pudding? I loosely follow a recipe I've got that uses Half & Half and an egg. It makes it more like a rice custard (obviously.) I don't make it often enough to remember that I don't need a recipe, and if I want it like the r.p. I grew up with, I should just wing it with rice, milk, sugar and a little vanilla extract (although I did add cinnamon and fresh-grated nutmeg in mine last night.)

It all eats. And it's a pleasant change of pace.

Yes, I did. I always use an egg and usually add raisins because my husband likes them. I like the sprinkle of nutmeg.

Still trying to use up some of the freezer stuff so we have room to make ice cream again once the weather starts to warm back up a little bit. So, frozen turkey and broth are in the slow cooker with brown rice and will add veggies later once it is closer to being done. There will be plenty for several meals and some for the dogs and kitties, too.
