What's for supper?

I may start using it again. Since my recent gastric episodes (still lingering), I've been paying attention to getting more fiber. TVP has almost 12 grams of fiber per cup (plus a bunch of vitamins & minerals), which gets a woman to half her daily fiber requirement and a man about 1/3 the way there. Sadly, like many high-fiber foods and all soy products, it's also got oxalate, which is a bad thing if you form kidney stones as I do.
I have been reading Dr. Will Bulsiewicz book, Fiber Fueled, and many fruits and veggies have a lot of good fiber. I also add psyllium and acacia (which I buy as Kidney Restore) to appropriate foods.
I don’t want to take the dinner thread off topic, but I it is something we can discuss in the health section if you want to.

Back on topic……. The pasta actually turned out to be delicious, and if I had not known that it didn’t have hamburger in it, I would have never known the difference.
Between the whole wheat pasta, veggies, TVP, and the spaghetti sauce, we had a good meal with lots of healthy fiber.
I even added some nutritional yeast to give it a nice cheesy flavor.
Bobby liked it , too !
