What's for Breakfast?

Not knowing why we would have a "What's for Supper?" thread without one for breakfast, I have started one here. I'm kind of hoping we don't end up with a "What's for Brunch" thread, though.

A typical breakfast, when I make it, begins with dicing a sweet potato and a russet potato, and frying them in a large skilled with some bacon, cut up fine, and may another meat, such as hot dogs (cut into small pieces) or hamburger. Then, I add a bit of butter, a liberal amount of salt and pepper, and maybe some other spices. Once the potatoes are fried sufficiently, I'll scramble some eggs into it, and, if we have some, maybe some salsa. I call it breakfast goulash. Not only does it taste good but it involves a limited amount of cleanup. I experiment with the spices and the meats, but, in my opinion, chicken and turkey don't work, while ham does.

Similar for me but I use the irreversible for potatoes. Break an egg over them.

If there is nothing on the agenda a pot of coffee in bed with a share cinni-apple roll warmed or a slice of lemon pound cake shared. Treats for the furry.
SO gets meat of choice, egg, cheese, tortilla/muffin and a sliced fruit. Sausage is homemade crumble. I get sweet potatoe, tofu, egg, yoghurt and lots of hot sauce. Juice of choice.

For the record, I don't ordinarily have such a large breakfast. Given that the rest of you are showing off about how little you eat, I thought it might be important to mention that.

I've never been a breakfast eater; I'm just not interested in food until I've been up for several hours. Occasionally we'll have a late traditional breakfast or a donut or something around 'lunch' time, or if any of the kids are home I always cook a big breakfast. But on a normal day, it's just coffee.

Every Sunday for breakfast, actually brunch, I make my homemade flapjacks...
Mashed ripe bananas, egg, cream, flour, cinnamon, sweetener, and I add some frozen blueberries to the batter just before cooking.................................. Serve with maple syrup..
Have you any idea how hard it is to clean drool off my keyboard? 😄
