What Are You Doing Today?

Did they give you a free Slurpee?
No! I ground out all the calcium that forms within a week, from our water here. Of course I sterilized the bowl before I used 400 grit silicon carbine paper to remove the heavy stuff, then 600 grit to shine the bowl like a diamond on a dog tail.

If you boys want to know the secret to fine toilet bowl cleaning, just let me know and I will start a masterclass post, covering all the aspects of the fine art of toilet bowl cleaning and polishing. :ROFLMAO:

I was just teasing. So it sounds like you're not treating that water. Do you drink bottled? I have a softener, but because I get stones, I'm a little leery of trusting that all minerals are removed for purposes of drinking it.

I am on city water that is treated and filtered at their plant, but it is still full of calcium. They say it is drinkable, but I always drink only what comes thru my heavy metals filter on one line. Water for coffee, I boil out the mineral.

Today we are making the trip down the parkway to go to Home Depot. While Bobby is there, he can drop me off at Sam’s Club, and I can pick up some items we need and like to purchase there. Since it is a long ways , I seldom get to go to Sam’s Club anymore, unless Bobby needs to go to Lowe’s or HD, both of which are close by Sam’s.

We ended up having to get 2 new (used) tires for the Ford Ranger yesterday, that had the nail in the tire. It was too far into the sidewall for the tire shop to patch.
So, now we will have a tire for a spare, but we have to get a rim that will fit it. The people at the tire shop didn’t have one, but said they will watch for one and let us know when they get in a rim that will fit the pickup.

This was my daughter’s truck, and when she got a different one, she gave the Ranger to me, and i just love that little truck ! It is a 2000 extra cab and has over 250,000 miles, but still runs fine.

I got into my old 96 Dodge today to check out the spoils of the 'big garbage pickup' in the neighborhood. It gets used very little and was covered in dust. I cleared some off the windshield and took it to the hydrant to spray it off. It is harder for me now to just get in it than to mount my horse. : (
But it started right up like a champ. It always amazes me.
Found a solid maple dining table but could not lift it in. I was going to use it for building material. I may have to admit to my getting old with a bad leg.
But I did take down that pine hubby wanted to keep. I found a video showing it was dangerous to the foundation. It had a history here but it was 18ft high, at least and 8 ? feet at the base--right by the house. I dragged it to the driveway but I will have to cut it up and take it to the farm to burn it, I think.
Sad. It was so naturally beautifull.
Went to lunch with friends for the last time before they go to their condo in Florida for the winter.
Then Bible study. The pastor is on vacation so it was a little less organized than usual.

Trying to convince myself that I feel well enough to go for a short walk. Serious bladder and kidney infection, really took me down. Although my attitude has improved, my energy is low. Infection was from the biopsy and not uncommon. Two days on sulfa antibiotic has infection improving, but caused me an unwelcome case of diarrhea. Painful to pee and gagging stinky to poo. My headache has improved, so I will stop my whining.

I haven’t done much today. I am feeling bored and out of sorts. I can’t motivate myself to giddy-up and do something. I need to get my hair trimmed. I want to get a massage too. My neck and back have been hurting; probably from sitting in front of the computer too much.💻 I also have to schedule a bone scan. I haven’t had one in 15 years and my GYN wants me to have another one; just because. I haven't decided on that yet.

Also, I can't find anything to watch on TV lately that is that interesting, nor can I find a good book to read. Not much is making me happy here of late, it seems like. 🤷‍♀️
