What Are You Doing Today?

Did they give you a free Slurpee?
No! I ground out all the calcium that forms within a week, from our water here. Of course I sterilized the bowl before I used 400 grit silicon carbine paper to remove the heavy stuff, then 600 grit to shine the bowl like a diamond on a dog tail.

If you boys want to know the secret to fine toilet bowl cleaning, just let me know and I will start a masterclass post, covering all the aspects of the fine art of toilet bowl cleaning and polishing. :ROFLMAO:

I was just teasing. So it sounds like you're not treating that water. Do you drink bottled? I have a softener, but because I get stones, I'm a little leery of trusting that all minerals are removed for purposes of drinking it.

I am on city water that is treated and filtered at their plant, but it is still full of calcium. They say it is drinkable, but I always drink only what comes thru my heavy metals filter on one line. Water for coffee, I boil out the mineral.

Today we are making the trip down the parkway to go to Home Depot. While Bobby is there, he can drop me off at Sam’s Club, and I can pick up some items we need and like to purchase there. Since it is a long ways , I seldom get to go to Sam’s Club anymore, unless Bobby needs to go to Lowe’s or HD, both of which are close by Sam’s.

We ended up having to get 2 new (used) tires for the Ford Ranger yesterday, that had the nail in the tire. It was too far into the sidewall for the tire shop to patch.
So, now we will have a tire for a spare, but we have to get a rim that will fit it. The people at the tire shop didn’t have one, but said they will watch for one and let us know when they get in a rim that will fit the pickup.

This was my daughter’s truck, and when she got a different one, she gave the Ranger to me, and i just love that little truck ! It is a 2000 extra cab and has over 250,000 miles, but still runs fine.
