That is sad news, @Hoot Crawford ! I have had CHF for over 25 years now, and it is no fun to live with. I am not sure if it was the afib caused the heart failure, or vice-versa; but either way, each made the other one worse.
I had 2 ablations, which helped the afib for a while, but now have the AV node block and a permanent pacemaker that totally controls my heart.

If I did not have the pacemaker, I would probably not be here today, so for me, it has been a good thing.
Since the heart failure also causes kidney failure, that is just another thing that I have to be concerned about as well, and I imagine that you are probably dealing with all of those same issues, or at least most of them.

yep. I'm taking Jardiance and sacubitril-valsartan that are to help with the kidney and heart function. And I had a pacemaker installed back in May. Will see the cardio doc again in 6 weeks.

This morning was the first day I felt well enough to do some shopping after two dental surgeries a few days ago. I got some stuff that doesn't require much chewing - yoghurt, blueberries, cottage cheese, bananas. After two errands, I felt like I ran a marathon.

I can fully understand your heart heath issues ,now my hubs is going thorough the same thing , all I can say here is a big hug

My hubs had a pacemaker installed about 3 weeks ago ,after crashing our car on a very busy road in the city .
The cardiologists think his heart stopped momentarily and restarted by the huge bump when he hit the concrete island in the middle of the road …..

Not much on my agenda today... pretty much like every other day. I'm meeting friends to have lunch and get caught up with the gossip so that will be nice. Of course the weather is looking stormy and it's starting to thunder, wouldn't you know? I hope we don't have to reschedule but we'll see.

This morning , i will be watching the new Apple Event ! I look forward to this every year, even though I am not buying anything new from Apple.
The morning is just a little cooler today, so we might actually be moving into fall here in north Alabama, even though we are still showing days into the 90’s for the next week or so.

First things first - after 90 minutes 1:1 an hour hot tub. Then harvesting and back to stitching beads. I had grocery shopping on the radar but it is not happening today.

I started harvesting stinging nettle seeds yesterday but today is too wet. Have to get to them before they start to drop off. Went to half priced pizza Wednesday with friends.
Now I am thinking.

I just made some yummy mac and cheese
