Mark bought a new carpet cleaner. He was gung ho toc carpet clean. He moved things around, Put cleaner together and began to clean carpet. It leaks. He did everything he could have trying to maker it work. Called Bissell got the AI versionof being helped. Went thru all the steps, still leaks, He is very frustrated and is now returning the cleaner to the one place you can buy such a thing here, the lumber yard, In meantime house is a wreck, I am on heating pad, trying to get ready to move around some more. I did get a pasta salad made early this morning. 
So after lunch will re put things back in their place.I am going to dust before I do, as the dust is heavy in here.
Not sure what the day will bring later on.

Probably not much today. Yesterday was very tiring for us both. Him doing serious carpet cleaning all day long. Me cleaning out vacuum cleaner and doing put backs where things were moved. I have few things to put back today.
I am planning on calling my oldest daughter, she is having major surgery Sept 2
Wish I could be there.

I'm not doing much here today neither. Just sitting around pecking away on the computer comparing prices for different items that I have my eye on to buy. I wish we still had our malls around here to wander around in. Sometimes I like see items that I am buying. The only deceit store around here is Dillard’s. We use to have so many nice stores but they are all gone now.
I miss shopping. But I guess that most stores became nothing more than showrooms for online merchants. "I can get that cheaper online."I'm not doing much here today neither. Jalapeno almonds and the caramel crack state perfectly. Tiny brownies in muffin tins with brown sugar and crunchy brown sugar/butter/pecan topping made the house smell like Christmas. The usual snicker poodles.

Sigh, an aggravating afternoon due to this dog. I do not even wanna talk about now.

The brutal heat/humidity from hael started making a comeback this weekend. It’s a long boring story, for anyone who has never owned horses, but the lady who loaned me her Arab as a companion to my senior fella, had three weeks to get her other two equids moved, after being there five years .
The other horse border had lived on the property 14 years. He is close to my age. He had six horses and a lot of equipment to move.
The lady in one of the other rental homes is 72 and had also lived there many years.
Yet everyone was given a near impossible notice to move off this 63 acre ex training facility. Yepper, big money (likely a housing development) talks and ethics/integrity walks.
I said all that to say, I was on the 4-wheeler and the John Deere all weekend, getting my far pasture ready for the Mustang & the donkey who were the Arabian’s pasture buds. I drank a lot of water and was in/out of the house to cool off. I evidently still managed heat exhaustion because it was all I could do to get to the chiropractor this morning and not be sick while I was there.
Since I am a long way from the 40 year old I pretended to be while running the equipment, I have been a beached whale most of the rest of the day.Tomorrow will be better, even though the temperature is soaring to a real temp of near 100 degrees. I am trying not to complain about the heat because it’s still better than the other side of that coin, BUT I am so over it……
I am also trying not to complain because there are so many folks who have much more negativity and health issues to deal with than I do.
