I have a couple of fiddle-leaf fig trees. One is bushy and gorgeous; it sits next to the front door windows in the house. The other is tall and leggy, basically two stems with a cluster of leaves at the top. After reading a bit, I decided to cut the spindly one back severely and see if I can get it to bush out.
So yesterday I cut it practically in half. Now there are two "sticks" in the clay pot, about a foot tall. They are totally bare so we'll see if anything buds out or if I have just murdered the FLF plant.
