It’s still early but the best thing so far is that I woke up in my right mind and fully cognizant of the fact that if I wasn’t in my right mind I probably wouldn’t know the difference anyway.
To be honest though, it’s always a good start of a day when my wife comes out with a smile on her face and says Good Morning.
It’s just something that I remember to thank God for every day.

MRI done! Should have results early afternoon.

My son came over. He stopped by my rose bush. When he came in, he said that was the most beautiful rose bush he had ever seen. He said he told the rose bush that, too. 
I told him that my Mama used to talk to her flowers every day when she watered them. She had a green thumb. I used to say that she could stick a tobacco stick in the ground and it would sprout leaves and bloom. Maybe the watering them helped, too. He laughed.

Beats going under and have them check manually what is not right.
I agree. It's miraculous that regular folks like us have access to such things.
I've had hearing issues and they did an MRI on my brain and the auditory nerves. I had the results just a couple of hours after walking out of the place.

Have you checked into open MRIs just in case?
Those are no longer available in my state(?) I needed one when I was outside of DC and they are no longer in use there...that was 20 years ago Same holds true for the imaging facilities here 100 miles south. The resolution is not good enough for the doctors. Just gotta suck it up.

You can do it! Ask for music and the approximate duration of the scan. You can count down that way.
Talk to Google. Apparent there are quite a few locations for open MRIs in the larger DC area.

update.. the MRI was for breast, so it was rollover and hang down, apiece cake

So far getting up without pain all over. Sleeping in the recliner helps so much. Not sure what the day will bring, but I can move and I am gonna get busy soon.

The best thing that happened today was I found some beautiful looking produce at the farmers market. It not only looked good but tasted fresh too. Normally, I am not too impressed with the farmers market on many items that are sold there anymore. Partly, because I have always had my own garden in the past, and I know what “fresh” is and what produce is supposed to look like. In the past at the markets, a lot of the produce has been harvested days before but, today it was all fresh looking. Yay!
