It is pretty terrible the way the press treats anything Trump does. I think it is a bit different than Vietnam as so many took out their ire on the retuning troops, many of whom were drafted and had no real choice as to how their life was interrupted. The way the returning military members were treated by the media AND the demonstrators was despicable.

Johnny Jones, the guy on Fox who is a double amputee due to the Iraq war, pointed out that the last time we lost this many troops was Biden's disgraceful surrender of Afghanistan when American troops were abandoned to die by the Biden administration and most of the media barely said a word about that debacle.

If Trump doesn't wrap this up soon, he has buried any hopes in the mid-terms. A lot of Republicans are already pissed because of his "no more wars" claims were apparently just bullshit. Maybe he does believe he's the King after all.
 
I think Trump said 4 to 6 weeks. If he can do what he intends in that time, he will go down in history as a master, no matter what the media and the Democrats say. There are now alleged talks going on with members of Iran's "regular" military concerning a transfer of power, and the Crown Prince and others are in the wings to assist the process. Donald Trump is no George Bush, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden...fortunately.

Reminds me a lot of the Dems and the media undermining efforts to increase the body count in Vietnam to make Americans hate the war against the Communist allies of those Dems & talking heads. Remember Al Gore's "No governing legal authority" regarding taking campaign contributions from the Chinese??? Yeh, there's no governing moral authority, either, and there's damn little protection against overt seditionists.

Both Gore and Clinton received serious campaign contribution through the Chinese. I suspect Clinton was the way Gore got connected since Clinton had a channel through a restaurant in Little Rock (just like Ilhan Omar did in Minneapolis with the Somalis). A Democrat congressman from California was dating a Chinese spy for a while and I think Dianne Feinstein had a Chinese connection as well. I don't think Barbara Boxer had any clue where her contributions were coming from as she probably couldn't locate China on a map.

He has been having pre emptive actions although people have no idea how close we came. He is trying to keep China out. He kicked them out of the Panama Canal in a fantastic move. He ended them in Venezuela. He is working like a son of a gun on all fronts. after Biden got them into our country with allowing them to buy land around our military bases.
So, today someone announced that we are out of missiles and it takes three years to make them. No wonder he has to be a bit secretive about his plans.
 
Trump has allegedly behind the scenes threatened to exit NATO. That would leave a group of impotent Western nations standing alone. U.S. bases would probably move into Hungary and Poland and leave the UK, Germany and much of the rest of Europe behind. Their failure to respond to Trump's ask for help to open the Strait of Hormuz was the last straw. Ukraine is not America's war but we financed much of the defense of Ukraine and Western Europe turns their back on U.S. requests for help to keep a strait open that benefits Europe much more than the U.S. The UK is reportedly now reconsidering and the Japanese PM and the President are due to meet today in person, so Japan may be going on its first naval expedition since WWII.

Trump wants to replace NATO with a security agreement with Eastern European nations and the UN with a Peace Organization and leave much of Western Europe to defend itself from Russia. I have no idea how that would work out.

I doubt we are completely out of missiles, but it may mean we will be pulling them out of Europe and elsewhere. The Biden Administration was perhaps the worst in American history, and has left a real mess to try to clean up both domestically and internationally.
 
He is juggling a whole lot of stuff and apparently doing a spectacular job of it. I don't know that going to war against countries in order to impose our will on them for the benefit of the United States, being the aggressor, is morally defensible, but, as an American, unlike elected Democrats and the media, I hope we win.
 
The allies, including some of the Arab countries, are flying A-10 Warthogs and Apache helicopters in In addition to the B-52s that were introduced a few days ago. This indicates that Iran has NO anti-aircraft capabilities left at all. These low and slow aircraft would be easy targets for any anti-aircraft weapons. There are also hunter-killer drones patrolling the streets of major cities to take out roadblocks and outposts set up by Iran.

The Arab nations have given Iran enough rope to hang itself with, and a couple of speeches I've heard sound like those nations now feel they have sufficient cause to take action against those they have decreed as being "not really Muslim."

I bet they've all been installed by the same hand. There's no way that everyone suddenly decided to open the floodgates of 3rd World immigrants eager to make their way into countries populated by the evil White Man while leaving their glorious monochrome worlds behind, while those politicians suddenly discovered a flavor of racism that Diverse & Tolerant™ people would embrace.
