Shopping--What did you buy?

The cheap paper towels are also thinner. I still have one roll left at the barn and one sheet isn’t worth a pinch of salt to wipe the counter area where I mix the feed with water.

Another slap in the wallet is the candy bars kids have to sell for school. I paid two dollars for a 1.3 ounce chocolate bar one of my chiropractor’s staff was selling for her daughter. 1.3 ounces isn’t much bigger than one Hershey’s Kisses used to be. Annnnd, when I read the fine print on the wrapper, it said $2.50 in Alaska & Hawaii

Like a lot of folks, I'll contribute money to those causes but will not buy the products...contests be damned.

Lol. That is what I do. But I offered money instead last time and the kid brought out a chart where I could just give $50? $100?.... I said put the chart away and gave him 5 or $10. I know the kids don't get much of the product money. Kind of sad.
