It seems like Don said something about going somewhere, but I thought it was just a few days. I can't imagine him living where he does for many more years.

No news yet, just waiting out the time till I see the surgeon. Once the surgery is scheduled, I will get all my winterizing done around this banana ranch. I haven't posted lately, because I am not inspired to do anything. Also, vision is bad most days and I haven't resigned to playing pirate yet. I fear playing pirate and I might be forced to walk the plank. :sneaky:

Of course I appreciate it! My only request is to pray for all the children living in slavery, abuse, hunger, and without hope, first.

The importance of prayers for the little children, I think is overlooked just as Christ disciples didn't understand the importance of allowing the children to be in his presence. Perhaps, that is the most important of all. We are old and while prayers for all of us, are appreciated, we are nearing the end of life's journey, but the children are just beginning.

“When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'” – Mark 10:14

Sorry to go off topic. Count me present today and I hope we hear from Don soon. I checked to see if any earthquakes have hit his area. I didn't read of any.
 
Although, no reports of internet outages, Don's general area has had 137 earthquakes since Sept. 5. Small ones 2 to 4.

Don also reported on Sept 2 that he was having back problems.

The daylight is getting shorter in Alaska as time near the winter solstice.

Those factors coupled with his age and living in rural Alaska, anything is possible.

I hope just an internet problem.
