True, but that doesn't normally keep him from checking in regularly. I don't recall him saying they had a trip planned but I might have missed it.

It seems like Don said something about going somewhere, but I thought it was just a few days. I can't imagine him living where he does for many more years.
No news yet, just waiting out the time till I see the surgeon. Once the surgery is scheduled, I will get all my winterizing done around this banana ranch. I haven't posted lately, because I am not inspired to do anything. Also, vision is bad most days and I haven't resigned to playing pirate yet. I fear playing pirate and I might be forced to walk the plank.

Harvesting and putting up a spread like his is not for sissies.
No word back from Don Alaska yet. I emailed him yesterday, so hoping he will write back soon, and is just busy.

Of course I appreciate it! My only request is to pray for all the children living in slavery, abuse, hunger, and without hope, first.
The importance of prayers for the little children, I think is overlooked just as Christ disciples didn't understand the importance of allowing the children to be in his presence. Perhaps, that is the most important of all. We are old and while prayers for all of us, are appreciated, we are nearing the end of life's journey, but the children are just beginning.

Sorry to go off topic. Count me present today and I hope we hear from Don soon. I checked to see if any earthquakes have hit his area. I didn't read of any.
