Problem with mice!

I have a place in the country. Lots of snakes out here, including in the crawlspace (because they are after the mice.) When I was buying the place, I hired a female home inspector. I was following her around as she was doing her thing, and we headed for the crawlspace. We got under there and she shined her flashlight towards a corner and nonchalantly said "Look at all the sheds." She was referring to all the snake skins hanging down, accumulated over the decades. I told her "If I wasn't under here with a woman, I'd be shrieking like a schoolgirl and headed for the exit. So maybe we could please speed things up a little???"

I have a bunch of black snakes here as well as a smattering of copperheads. The black snakes don't bother me much, but the copperheads can do you harm.

The country folks in the North Carolina mountains often kept geese around, as they said they would not tolerate snakes. It was the copperheads they worried about.
