Are they mice or voles? Voles look a lot like mice, actually not as ugly, and love damaging your lawn. Krystal is right, a cat is the answer. I have neighborhood cats that patrol my place and keep those little vermin few and far between. Best way to attract neighborhood cats is put out an open can of tuna out where the mice are.

We live in an area where people move a lot and there is also empty fields, so small rodents abound in this part of town. We tried all kinds of traps and poisons, and nothing worked.
We had a really cold winter and started putting out food and water on our covered front porch for the stray or feral cats, and they started showing up every day to eat, and now we don’t have any rats, squirrels, or other rodents in the yard , and even the birds have stopped eating Rusty’s outside dog food from his food dish.
And we now have 4 permanent inside/outside kitty cats which we love and enjoy, so it worked out for good, all the way around.

My husband says "mice " ...I haven't seen cats ....The neighbour has a beautiful cat, but she doesn't let it go outside !

We will try anything ! can't get a cat but Will try to see if there's one hanging around your way .

Will let you know how it goes.... Thanks ☺️

I read mint distracts mice and ants.We bought peppermint oil for our camper and will use it around the van. I delute it a little with water.

If you have Aa LOT of mice, voles, or rats, and no predators to speak of, you can make one of these. I have bunch of these that are not so elegant, but work great to control voles since our barn cat's demise. It has saved our orchard tress form winter damage,
