Canadians say “sorry” so often that a law was passed in 2009 declaring that an apology can’t be used as evidence of guilt.
Is that true, @Steve North ?

I am taking a poll on what's the best thing to do for poison ivy instead of giving a fact of what to do. Friend has it pretty bad. I know what I would do but she may have to check in with a doctor.
My husband used to get poison ivy really bad. Just looking at it, he would be all broken out from head to toe. When we were first married, I had to take him to the emergency room because he let it go a few days and then his whole body became covered in it; poor guy. My Mother was the same way.I am taking a poll on what's the best thing to do for poison ivy instead of giving a fact of what to do. Friend has it pretty bad. I don't remember ever getting it but I always wear protective clothing head to foot.See a knowledgeable doctor, PA or NP and get a steroid prescription. I have only had it once (poison oak) and I messed around with providers who didn't even know what it was. I was referred to a dermatologist who ID'd it in 30 seconds, gave me a script and it was gone is less than 2 days. I was apparently naturally immune to it in childhood, for I ran through the stuff and handled it without even a small blister, but I slid down a hill of the oak in California while hiking and it lasted for a couple weeks.
Or on you.Flies urinate every three seconds. Think of that the next time it is walking across the edge of your glass.
I always imagine the fly buzzing from the fresh dog poop to my salad bowl. I hate flies.Or on you.![]()
People used to think I was nuts because at the first sight of a fly I went on the attack till it was swatted dead.I always imagine the fly buzzing from the fresh dog poop to my salad bowl. I hate flies.
