I questioned whether this was true on the internet.

Yes, it is true. In 2016, Nigerian-born surgeon Dr. Oluyinka Olutoye and his team at Texas Children’s Hospital performed a groundbreaking procedure where they removed a 23-week-old fetus from the womb to remove a large tumor. The baby was then returned to the womb and born healthy at 36 weeks.

  • The Procedure: The baby, named Lynlee Hope, had a large, life-threatening tumor called a sacrococcygeal teratoma.
  • The Surgery: Dr. Olutoye and his team opened the uterus, removed the baby, operated to remove the tumor, and returned her to the womb.

It is a bald legged lie that women started shaving their legs during WW 2 because all their nylons were confiscated to make parachutes. It is believed women started shaving their legs around 1915 when the hem line was shortened. It is also a rare known fact that the 19th century old west dance hall girls wore fishnets to camouflage hairy legs. :sneaky:

Despite the popular myth that fruit flies only live 24 hours, the average lifespan of a fruit fly is to 40-50 days under ideal conditions. During that time, female fruit flies can lay several batches of eggs, allowing the fruit fly population in a home to grow quickly. Fruit flies also live longer in warmer temperatures.

How I get rid of fruit flies... take a Pepsi bottle... cut the top of it off. Turn it upside down into the bottle and tape it on. Pour vinegar, beer or whiskey in it. Sit back and gloat as they go inside and can't get out. Die, you !*&%!!'s.
Does it have to be Pepsi or will a Dr. Pepper bottle work? :ROFLMAO:

The "Petticoat Revolution" refers to the December 5, 1916, municipal elections in Oregon, where seven women secretly campaigned and won control of a town's government, including the mayorship. The mayors wife was behind the revolt and defeated her husband in the election.

The reason for the women's revolt was chicken :poop:. Ok, y'all can laugh but it is a fact that repeated request by the towns women to outlaw chickens running loose all over town and :poop:ing on the boardwalks, was laughed at by the male run government. Women were sick and tired of their petticoats dragging in chicken :poop:, so they secretly met under the disguise of playing cards, and planned their campaign.

Once the women got the town back on track with chickens incarnated behind wire, stray dogs adopted or relocated, weekly city garbage pickup, street lights installed, board walks repaired, general town beautification, and DOGE'd the dead weight in government (IE no need for a male marshal that did nothing), they turned the government back over to the men. They had better things to do than ride herd on a little, once chicken :poop: town.

It is now a scientifically tested fact that fruit flies prefer juice from homemade pickles to whiskey.

I made two traps. I put juice from a jar of homemade pickles in one and whiskey in the other. I set them side by side. Two days later, there are six flies in the whiskey trap and too many to count in the pickle juice trap.

I got tired of maintaining the liquid traps and bought some of the little plug-in sticky traps with the night light. These things work GREAT. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09T3T1FYN?th=1

The word salary derives from the Latin word salarium, which is rooted in sal (salt). It originated from a Roman-era term referring to an allowance or payment given to soldiers to purchase salt, a crucial and valuable commodity for food preservation. While some debate exists on whether they were directly paid in salt, the connection to sal is accurate
