Taking babysitting classes !

I remember babysitting courses being offered twice yearly when I was younger. Age 12 was the minimum age to sign up, and the course lasted for 5 or 6 weeks. One lady was the instructor of the course for years and years.

I earned my babysitter's badge helping my mom with baby siblings in the home starting at an early age, so I never took the babysitter's course but knew of a lot of girls that did.

1974, Aunt Kay, just had her third baby and informed that she'll be needing me to babysit every Wednesday evening (Aunt Kay's Bingo night)!

Between babysitting for Mrs. D, and Mrs. K, babysitting for my mom when she needs me to, and babysitting for my Aunt Kay, I'm going to be one busy sitter!

Teaching the kids to drive out about a Km on the private property road to the school bus stop , my youngest was only 5 when he started driving and riding motor bikes ….
