How's the Weather Where You Are?

It hit 100°F air temps today. The heat index was 110°F. An unforecasted line of thunderstorms came through with some heavy rain (finally), and it's gonna drop into the 60s tonight. We are still under drought water restrictions for those on municipal water. Some wells are struggling, but I suspect those are bored wells (groundwater) and not drilled wells (deep into aquifers.)

Cooler and maybe some rain or thunderstorms happening today. We had some rain for a couple hours early this morning, and we needed it. Everything was drying out from the hear of the last few days. Bobby was in the swimming pool yesterday, but the water still felt cold to me, so I didn’t try getting in.

Rain, rain, rain. Dark and dreary.
We sure could use some of that. Our drought is not letting up. There are "thundershowers" predicted for Friday, but we've been led astray a lot lately. This dry weather is getting people even more angry over the data centers planned for our county and their high levels of water (and power) consumption.

I'm in the red band:

I saw an article yesterday about a neighborhood ruined by a data center. Apparently it is emitting a low-level humming noise that permeates the entire area and is making people crazy. How much of this crap are we expected to tolerate?
