How's the Weather Where You Are?

We had some nasty thunderstorms roll through yesterday afternoon. They stretched almost across the whole state. I had an doctor appointment about 20 miles up the road in the middle of the storms. It went from rain so hard that cars pulled over onto the shoulder with their 4 way flashers on to no rain at all, then back & forth. We were at a 12" precip deficit and may have put a 3" dent into it the past week. The next 7-10 day forecast is a string of clear days in the mid 70s to the low 80s.
 
I go to a search engine for up coming weather forecasts. My usual one forecast below freezing for the week. The next said 70's for the next two days and then very hot. The last one says 70's for the next week.
If I decide to go with the last one, does that mean it definitely will be nice here?
 
It looks like today might be my last day of sunshine and yardwork for a while. The forecast shows rain and thunderstorms for all of next week, and temperatures almost to 90. When it is that warm, we would usually be spending time out in the backyard pool, but defnintley won’t be doing that if we are having thunder and lightning.
I was thinking about starting another one of the raised bed containers, but if we are going to be getting all of that rain, I will either have to get it all done today, or not do it until the rain is gone again.
 
We finally got a bit of rain last night and I am grateful but in looking for an amount, it seems it is less than half an inch. It has not rained for weeks and the grass around here was beginning to look like late August grass. I had put in some squash seeds of several types yesterday so am looking forward to sauteed summer squash and autumn pies.
