How's the Weather Where You Are?

The birch trees have begun to bud out now, so I think that means the trees "think" things will stay above freezing now. It got up to 62 F. here yesterday, the warmest it has been this year so far. It is somewhat amusing when so many are complaining about the heat, we are wondering if it will stay above freezing at night.:)

Weatherman is talking record highs of over 105F and what he calls high winds. He does have a sense of humor. At 50-60 mph gusts it is not easy to get in and out of a car or make it to the mailbox. One reason I have a big hair clip on my purse strap. The mop getting caught in a car door is a painful experience.

Temperatures have moderated and highs are now around 60 F./15.5 C. and winds are picking up. They are predicting gusts to 60 mph/96.6 kph tonight overnight ending tomorrow morning. The good part of that is that it means we probably won't be below freezing tonight.

This whole spring has been exceptionally windy, almost blowing me over windy at times. I don't remember a year with such prolonged wind. Yesterday was 90 and today will be in 50's. Daughter found her air conditioner was not working yesterday. I guess it was good to test it before summer.

It is 88 right now, and supposed to be that for the next few days, but with some rain maybe coming in by Tuesday. I was outside early to get the raspberries planted and thinned the strawberries a little more, now we are both inside and Bobby turned on the AC for a while to cool down the house.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 2pm and 5pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 5pm. High near 88. South southwest wind 13 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Sounds about rigt. Got some mowing in early, we'll see how much more later.

Similar to yesterday, though I might lose the sunshine earlier today. Yesterday I was getting 504 watts out of three 180 watt rated panels in series I wouldn't place bets on getting that today. Getting 411 at the moment though.

It is 85 right now, heading for a high of 89, but with rain supposed to come in by tomorrow. At a 40% chance, we may or may not even gat any rain, but the forecast shows possibilities of rain for the rest of the week, so we should get some , somewhere along the timeframe.
I have th soaker hose barely dripping out in the new raspberry bed where I planted them yesterday.
