Two nights of high winds, thunder and lightning and toad stranglers. Typical Oklahoma
It is always either/or never in the middle.Bad enough for SO to skip a play date.
We finally got some much needed rain, forest fires were approaching ,so thank goodness. smoke not as bad today either. It is a lovely spring day for Mother's Day. We have been having sporadic high winds so I worry about burning brush.
Things are blooming here but the pollinators don't like the high wind and the chill. Hoping the fruit trees do OK.Lows in the high 30s F. and highs around 50. It is currently lightly raining...again. We had the wettest April on record here, and May is going the same way. No fire danger yet at least. The trees are usually budding out by now, but no sign of that yet. The willows are blooming, though, and that activates the allergies.
