AMAZINIG! We got a good pouring rain at about 5am this morning.

We had some good rain yesterday also, and we needed it , too, although not as bad as Florida needed the rain, @Marie Mallory ; so i am really happy that you guys finally got some rain down there .
It is chilly here today, and supposed to have more rain and maybe storms coming in by tomorrow. They said that for this weekend, too, but we didn’t have anything but rain, and i hope that it how it goes tomorrow as well.

Absolutely gorgeous out! Rain they say tomorrow so waiting till after so mowing can be done

Yvonne still slight chance of more later. It was sure a good feeling to see the ground wet an sun peek thru the smoke clouds.

I need to call my sister and see if she got rain. She's about 25 miles from Valdosta GA and there are lots of fires getting close to her, too.

We had some rain last night and this morning. Not enough to stop the drought but enough to help the crops survive for a while longer. It is supposed to be a lot cooler the next few days. That will help, too.

It is already thundering, lightening and raining out this morning. Severe weather is supposed to roll in area late afternoon to late evening; strong winds, hail, tornadoes, Toto, Dorothy, Wicked Witch of the West.....
