How's the Weather Where You Are?

Rain and snow mix predicted for the next week. Temps between 30 and 40 for lows and highs, and everything is muddy now that the snow is melting. Hopefully it will keep the fire season at bay. When all this dries up, the fires begin as is happening now in Florida and elsewhere.

Looks like nice weather here today, lots of sunshine, and then rain coming in overnight. More rain forecast for next week. The new raspberry starts should arrive next week, so I need to have the area ready to plant them when they arrive.
All of the roses are blooming and beautiful right now, too !

Most of our snow has now melted and the large puddles around the place are starting to sink into the ground as it thaws. Our large greenhouse is totally flooded now, so it is not accessible, but the little one nearer the house has dried a lot--no standing water at least. Temps in the mid-30s at night and the high 40s during the day. We had a bit of rain, but not a lot and much of the ice on our lake has opened, and the migrating ducks are travelling through.

Don, as you know we are the opposite, sure could use some of that moisture here.

We had some snow a week ago, and again a few days ago, but none of that stuck. The temperatures have been cooler than I'd like for the end of April, but I don't suppose that's all that unusual. Its in the high 30s right now.

Now it is beautiful - blue skies, gentle breeze, pushing 80. My first sunburn for 2026 is almost here.
SO is on a play date in Arkansas. Road in to the range. Now I know why guys tow a bass boat.
