How's the Weather Where You Are?

We went out to dinner tonight with friends and relatives to celebrate one of the grandkid's birthday. When we left the house, I was in jeans and a t-shirt and almost didn't take a light jacket because it was so warm. When we came out of the restaurant about an hour and a half later, it was colder 'n sin and a chilly wind was blowing.

Oh, Florida, my Florida.....

We were supposed to have a blizzard and a ton of snow last night, then they moved it to tonight, and now I see that we're not supposed to get snow until about 10:00 am tomorrow, and it'll be only 3-5 inches. Today was a beautiful day for late February, just above freezing, but comfortable enough to walk in with my jacket unzipped.

We are at 26, F/L 12, with a 25 mph wind right out of the north, so it is cold here in Alabama this morning, but should be back up to 50 again by midday tomorrow.
The radar is showing lots of snow up around New York, and I know that @Tony Page mentioned he was preparing for a blizzard up there. Are you doing okay, Tony, and are you getting all the snow that was predicted , or not so much, like Ken is reporting in Maine ?

We're okay for now we have plenty of supplies. The front door is half covered with snow drift so we have to go through the back door and shovel to get to it to clear it.
My son-in-law just left for work a little while ago he's walking. Fortunately his job is only about a mile and a half from us.
Our property runs parallel to the parking lot of a strip shopping center. We can see from our kitchen window there's a drift 3/4 up the back doors of some of the stores.
Just glad the power is holding up no outages for us yet.
I've decided to stay in loungewear this morning I'm not going out we still have high winds with snow.

Glad that you are okay, and hoping you do not lose power ! Prayers for your safety up there, too. It is for sure a reason to consider moving somewhere warmer. Keep us updated as much as you can while you are in this blizzard.

Still nothing going on here. My Apple Watch now displays a message that the weather alert has been canceled. I just went for a 30-minute walk. It's 23 degrees but feels colder than that to me, and we don't have any significant wind and it's not snowing. Supposedly, it's snowing in Portland, Maine, but that's about 3 hours south of here.

Did you get a new watch? I thought you mulched your Apple watch?

Well I think the blizzard is over right now we have about 31°, it's not snowing anymore and the wind is slowed down. We might see some sunshine tomorrow hopefully some of this will melt.

My son-in-law and my grandson are out there shoveling right now hope they'll get a lot done if need be I will go out tomorrow to try to get my car clear because I have an appointment on Wednesday at MSK.

From the storm, we got maybe as much as a quarter inch of snow, with drifts reaching as high as an inch or more. The town plows couldn't even find enough snow to block our driveway. They were trying, though; the plows ran all night last night, scraping the pavement.

Back below 0 F. again for a while I guess. March is usually our turning point in weather and temps, but perhaps not this year. W have a child of friends who is running the Junior Iditarod this year, so we will be going to the start this year. The kids go out 75 miles, camp overnight, and return after an 8-hour rest. It is for people 14 to 17 years of age. The sex of the musher doesn't matter just like in the long adult race. It might be a cold one this year with lots of snow.
