Wellllll Goodness! That sure shows what liberal policies you subscribe to. I find DEI not as country building as meritocracy and Dems proved it by checking who was pilot in the plane they were going to fly on.

Oh dear! The women in some families were obedient lemmings. I know them back to my Greatgrandmother on my mother’s side who was born in 1938. All of them ran successful businesses, raised their broods to think and function and brought their families through three major wars while their men were at war, POWs or returned in a childlike state of mind.

TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is a weird concept. Why does the concept even exist ? Why is it necessary ? Otherwise Trump's supporters would have to defend each of Trump's indefensible lies and acts of corruption and law-breaking point by point day after day and that would be utterly exhausting and humiliating. So they employ TDS to save themselves from that embarrassment.

What if every time someone disagreed with average guy Joe Smith, he claimed that that person suffered from JSDS (Joe Smith derangement syndrome) ? People would think that he was insane.

Many of Trump's supporters apparently see him as an object of religious devotion, so he must be protected from the scrutiny that presidents normally receive. Hence TDS. They're protecting themselves and President Trump at the same time.

TDS also functions as a "thought-terminating cliche." It is used to stop any criticism of President Trump and the psychic pain that such criticism causes his followers.

All they can do is parrot and make ignorant statements without any merit. Mentioning penis envy, just shows their ignorance as it has nothing to do with the topic. It is what liberals do when they have no original thought of their own.

TDS is the abject hatred of the man. From the beginning of his entry into politics because they knew he could end the gravy train and those that followed his opposition believed all the negativity of the media without even glancing at the things he accomplished. Of course some things went sideways but if our own country would stop throwing bricks and bullets at him, he could finish things that will make the US better. Starting with ejecting all of the illegals.
Interesting fact about high gas prices. Gas prices skyrocketed with the takeout of the nuclear facilities in Iran. When oil started flowing again and we were drilling the prices did not come back down. Is that Trump or the oil companies fault? When ICE tried to get out the worst of the worst, who stood in the way?
Lots of people could have had Joe Biden Syndrome. But he was not mentally responsible and yet he was held up as 'just fine' by Kamala etc. He made the migrant invasion mess that Trump has to clean up along with everything else.
Like Trump said, he could cure cancer and the left would not have stood for his address.
They shot Trump, arrested and tried Trump, tried to keep him off the ballot so people who just wanted to vote for him would not be able to, impeached him, tried other assassination attempts to keep him from stopping the WEF etc.
Now that's derangement.

Whatever cause you might want to fight against, I'm sure you can find someone who may have said it at some point in human history, but I see no point in ranting about it here. By "earlier in American history," I will assume you're speaking of some point in history before any of us were alive. You may as well begin a quest to stop people from burning witches, since that would have as much relevance to our lives.

Except in jest, I don't think anyone here is saying anything of the kind, so perhaps you should look for a forum set up to delegitimize women, if there is such a thing, and take your campaign there. I don't think I'm alone when I say that most of us would rather just talk about stuff here - regular conversations between people who enjoy talking to one another. You seem more interested in the forum equivalent of yelling at people from across the street or chanting slogans.

The term TDS is partisan insult intended to stop reasonable discussion of the issues.
It is not a clinical diagnosis, but rather is an illogical terminality, that makes no sense in reality.
Personally I feel that a better definition of TDS would be a close minded illogical obsession with Trump.

As mentioned previously on here, I've always been an independent, never a member of either of the main political parties.
When Trump had his tv show The Apprentice, it was immediately obvious what a major mafia type control freak that he was,
and he's only gotten worse over time. However I didn't care for Harris either, and was going to vote for RFK Jr in the 2024 election.
Unfortunately he then joined the Republican party with Trump, so I mistakenly voted for Trump, which in retrospect was a major mistake.

As is typical in the U.S. elections for President, also for Congress, we unfortunately don't get much of a choice, as most of
them, like Trump and his billionaire donors, only care about themselves, and don't care in the least about the rest of the country.
Because of that, the best overall economy in the world was the U.S. in 1980, but has continued to decline ever since then, and now
is ranked around 25th or worse. China has kept improving and is now the #1 economy in the world, with their Socialist Market Economy.

@Ken Anderson - I feel it isn't right to ban and/or to try and drive people away from here just because they have different
political viewpoints. Also I've noticed that MAGA supporters get away with a lot of name calling and personal attacks on here,
instead of focusing on the issues. If that is what is intended for this forum, then perhaps rename it to a seniors maga club forum,
although I'd prefer that not happen, and that people can simply just stop voicing their obsessions with Trump or whoever, and focus
on getting along and having civil discussions. Otherwise I see no point to discussing politics that drives a lot of members away from here.
 
Nobody's forcing you to come here, @John Walker, and I am not about to defend myself against something that isn't happening. Everyone here knows that you don't like Trump, and that @Paul Couillard has little else on his mind but his hatred for Trump. That's okay; I couldn't care less, but the constant repetition is boring the heck out of everyone. There's no point in saying the same thing over and over and over... It's like watching the same Democrat campaign advertisement ad nauseam.

Perhaps you get that from the Democrat politicians you follow, who can't think of one thing that they would do to make things better, but who would rather campaign on their obsessive hatred for Trump rather than on their own merits. I don't remember seeing a Democrat campaign speech or advertisement that wasn't mostly about Trump.

Most of the repetition that I see on here is coming from the maga people obsessed with worshiping Trump,
not from any of the people who are focused on the issues, like I am. I'm not referring to Paul or Ed but just to
people in general. Also you falsely accuse me of hating Trump. People shouldn't have to "love" a politician, but
what I am most concerned with are the policies that are destroying the middle class and the poor in this country.
We should be able to just discuss the issues in a reasonable manner, and stop attacking people for different viewpoints.

  1. I didn't say that, but if you're not comfortable here, there's little reason for you to hang around trying to make everyone else uncomfortable, too.
  2. I don't know of anyone here who agrees with Trump as wholeheartedly as you disagree with him.
  3. There might be someone here who does, but I can't think of anyone off-hand who has identified themselves as MAGA, and since you are using that as a pejorative, I would have to think that might be an attack against everyone who dares disagree with you, given that you identify anyone who disagrees with you as MAGA. If you truly wanted to focus on issues, I'd think there would be no need for that.
  4. You're mostly focused on carrying water for @Paul Couillard while you pretend to be above it all.
  5. You don't do a very good job of that.

I don't want YOU to leave. You can actually discuss in a reasonable manner.
I don't worship Trump but will defend him as our President. He has done things that I don't like. But I understand his bombastic demeanor is a tool.
I thought I was discussing issues I disagreed with in the same vigor as the presenter who attacked with the first post.
Trump is not destroying this country. He is trying to rebuild what was being destroyed and then, with a base, to make us better. But the base building was being thwarted. He may not get it all right but stopped what was going wrong.
The Fed destroyed our money. The continuous border breech destroyed and is destroying our laws using them against us. Inflation was not caused by Trump. He sees oil as the fix and there are leaks on all sides of the solution...
So much to do but at least he is doing.

Plenty of opportunities to discuss your political views without forcefully storing the pot to see what splatters.
