TDS seems to have a lot common with "penis envy."

Earlier in American history, women who said that they wanted (or attempted to) to vote, attend a college or university, play sports, run for pubic office, etc were told that they suffered from "penis envy," a psychiatric disorder.

So the women [and the issues themselves] who said or attempted to do these things were instantly pathologized, dismissed, delegitimated, and the issues [should women be allowed to do these things] were not discussed.

This was done to enforce the domination of women. A very biased assumption (that women are not mentally, physically, intellectually, em otionally able to do these things, and that Nature has configured women so as not to be able to do these things) got promoted to the status of a "truth" - in the minds of believers at least.

Wellllll Goodness! That sure shows what liberal policies you subscribe to. I find DEI not as country building as meritocracy and Dems proved it by checking who was pilot in the plane they were going to fly on.

A very biased assumption (that women are not mentally, physically, intellectually, emotionally able to do these things, and that Nature has configured women so as not to be able to do these things) got promoted to the status of a "truth" - in the minds of believers at least.

Oh dear! The women in some families were obedient lemmings. I know them back to my Greatgrandmother on my mother’s side who was born in 1938. All of them ran successful businesses, raised their broods to think and function and brought their families through three major wars while their men were at war, POWs or returned in a childlike state of mind.
