Passover starts on Thursday, April 2nd. which was the last supper......... The last supper was a Passover sedar..
It is always on the 14th day of the month of Nisan according to the Hebrew calendar..
This year they both fall on the same day, which is very rare..

In the Western Church, Passover and Easter only rarely coincide, but in the Eastern Church, the Last Supper always coincides with Passover, or so I have been told.

We had a good turnout. I picked some dandelions and damsels rocket for bitter herbs but people chose the parsley.

Yep, yesterday was Holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday, a memorial commemoration of the Last Supper Seder. Today is Good Friday...and then there is Easter.
